My friends tell me I'm not too bright, whatever that means. WHATS important to you is what I need to know. Price is obvious, less than a grand for the 746's and what are you getting for the differences in models versus dollars ? I want to ask whats the big difference between all these rigs. I've been reading reviews on the 746/756 class and see mostly positive comments but not real comparo's. I have a 52 amp power supply so thats not an issue.

I am reconsidering my purchase and thinking about an Icom 746 or 756 series?Ģ. I was tickled until I tried to use itĪfter 1 month I find that I'm not using the FT100 because I'm not a menu driven operator ! My previous newest piece of gear is 20+years old. I used this forum to find a beautiful Yaesu FT-100 a month or so ago and thx to all who gave advice.
